Sears Festival Showcase Night

Please join us at AHS for our Sears Festival Showcase Night, featuring Murphy's Law, Monday, February 27, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. In addition to the main performance, Ajax High School's Improv Club will be performing. Don't miss this great theatrical event!

Online Course Selections

The last date for submission of course selections online is MONDAY, February 27. STudents must also submit the sign-off sheet to guidance by this date.

You are invited to attend a campus open house at Glendon College of York University, Sunday, March 4, 2012. You will be able to tour campus, and speak with professors and students.

Black History Month

In December 1995, the Parliament of Canada officially recognized February as Black History Month, following a motion introduced by the first Black Canadian woman elected to Parliament, the Honourable Jean Augustine, MP of Etobicoke-Lakeshore.

As a school, we celebrate Black History Month to acknowledge contributions made by Blacks in Canada and to better understand the social forces which have shaped and influenced the Black community. The greater Canadian community needs to know a history of Canada that includes all of the founding and pioneering experiences in order to work from reality, rather than perception alone.

AHS has an incredible lineup of workshops and events to celebrate this very important month.
