¡Este año la escuela secundaria de Ajax va a ofrecer una sección de español de primer año para
nuestros alumnos, una sección de grado once y otra sección de grado doce! Bravo el programa está
creciendo! The programme is growing!
In September Ajax High will be offering one section of the first level of Spanish for students, one
section in grade 11 and another one for the grade twelve students! Bravo.
Ofrecemos tres materias de español:
We offer the three following courses:
LWS BD1 (grado 10)
LWS CU1 (grado 11)
LWS DU1 (grado 12)
Después de completar el grado 12 los estudiantes reciben un certificado de idiomas internacionales, el
cual tiene un gran valor curricular.
Students are presented with an International Languages Certificate upon the successful completion
of the three Spanish courses offered. (Looks great on the résumé!)
Hey! What about learning some basics before classes start?
¡Oye, se puede aprender un poco de español antes de que empiecen las clases!
¡Hola! : Hi!
los pasatiempos : hobbies
andar en bicicleta : to go for a bike ride
Estoy bien. : I'm fine.
andar en patineta : to skateboard
escuchar música : to listen to music
¡Mucho gusto! : It's nice to meet you!
¡Qué chévere! : How cool!
Aprendo español: I 'm learning Spanish
* In Spanish we use inverted punctuation before the sentence and 'regular' punctuation
after. ¿...? ¡...!
